Packed

3 more days, then I will be flying off. Now got mixture of feelings:

1. Excited - first time I am flying to another continent, Europe and UK. And this is totally different from any other trips that I have been.

2. Anxious - I keep checking to see if I missed out anything.

3. Worry - well, I can help worrying the work I left behind, but then, once I am up on the plane I will forget everything.

I bought a new bagpack. Not specifically for the trip but it gave me the excuse to get a new bag pack when the one I have is 'dying' on me.

Its a Samsonite

I have packed most of the things, except for my dresses and some essential that I am still using. I don't want my dresses to wrinkle. My list of things to bring is down to 26 of it

1. Passport
2. Air ticket & bus ticket

3. Money

4. Camera

5. Camera and handphone charger

6. Pendrive

7. Dresses

8. Clothes

9. Jeans

10. Long Pants

11. Undergarments

12. High heels for dinner

13. Card reader

14. Sweater

15. Toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush....

16. Facial care

17. make up

18. Sun Glasses

19. Wedding gift

20. Books to read on the plane

21. Socks

22. medicines

23. Comb

24. Accesories for dinner

25. Towel

26. Contact lens and solution

After I packed, then only I realised my bag is too heavy for me. Well, besides my own stuff, I also helped my aunty to bring over things for another aunty in UK and that includes some cloth (to be tailored to clothes later). Sigh... I have to look through the lot and start 'editting' and lastly I decided to carry the cloths in my bag pack.

Stuffed with things

I hope I did not leave anything. As it get nearer I am getting more fidgety.... hmmmm.

Peparations

I never like preparing for trips. Though I like trip but I find the hassle of getting prepared is sometimes unbearable. Especially when you are going somewhere far, and the weather is different. But, it also reminds me that the time is getting near and I should be excited. Which I am.

For the past weeks I have been scouting in the net for places to visit in London, Wales and also Sweden. I haven't been doing a good job but at least I have a few places in a llist ready.

I hope I can sit in one of those double decker buses in London.

Who knows it may pass by the London Bridge. We only have one day in London, so we do not have much time to go round. But then we definitely will wish to go to the Natural History and the Science Museum... cause it is free! Possibly we would also pass by Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park (well, if you have been reading all the romance story book on English astocrates you will understand that it is once a famous place for high class people to show off their ladies), Trafalgar Park (Piggy called it pigeon park - asked me to skip it cause of pigeons!), Westminster Cathedral, etc.

As for Wales, I think I will leave it to my Aunt to decide. She is more excited. But I hope I can go to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Anglesey Sea Zoo (I think the creatures will be more exciting than our KLCC aquarium!) and etc.
For Sweden, I am looking forward for the zoo! Cousin said the zoo is as big as a town. Can visit there 1 whole day! They also have this hall whereby they present the Nobel Prize every year. And cousin was saying about Viking Cruise.... yay yay!
But before I can go to all those places, I have to get the list done (T-T):
1. Long sleeves t-shirts and pants ( I have to buy the long pants and it always ended overly long for me)
2. Thicker sweater (the highest temperature is about 12 degree celcius and lowest is 4 to 5 degree)
3. Socks
4. Dinner dress and shoes ( I am attending a wedding, can't go with t-shirt can I? )
5. Toiletries (You can't believe it. I specifically buy bottles in Watson to fill in. Well, the bottles I have are just too fat!)
6. Medicines (specifically for my flu. Just scared I contracted to one the I am a goner)
7. Wedding gifts (I have been preparing this for weeks, cousin must love it, I don't care)
8. Camera, card reader and my pen drive (This is utmost important. Contemplating if I should get another pen drive 8G)
9. Money! (If you want your souvenir, you better pray I had enough.... hehehe)
10. Informations that I have research for (You don't expect me to remember all those places do you? )
Will have to start packing this weekend. I am flying off on 1st May. Yay yay! Piggy was saying I am too paranoia. She would have done it the night before. Well, I don't like the last minute. Especially when 30th April is 'work-till-system-down-day' for me. Flight is 8.50am. And I need to wake up at 5.30am? No, I don't want to stress up on a trip.

Over MY dead body?

Today we went for movie. It is a new movie. As we are queueing we chatted and finally when it reached our turn, friend asked me to tell the ticketer.

My brain told me it is called "Over HER Dead Body" but my what comes out was "Over MY Dead Body". Boy am I embarrassed. The ticketer don't know how to respond except to laugh. My friend was laughing, even the customer next line was laughing......

So pai seh!
