Reason: For boss' wedding
Location: Mid Valley & The Garden

Yes, we are in dire need to get the appropriate attire for our boss' wedding. Well, it is auspicious. It is not always you get Boss A married Boss B. So, we set out this morning with a mission. However, we venture all over Mid Valley, tried numerous fittings, NONE fit the bill. Outrageous! Partly because I am hard to fit... with a diameter that fit a size M to L but length of S. You can imagine... I managed to fit the diameter but it will be a three-quarter length dress when it is supposed to be only slightly over the knee. Or, it will be up to the appropriate length but I have to stop breathing. Another part is designs nowadays is weird. Sigh..... almost wanted to declare mission for today failed.

Worst of all, when the one who was expected to find difficulty choosing actually got it with 1 try. Tension! Back up plan? Go back to Sungei Wang lo. Before pursuing further, we nursed our hungry stomachs. Mid Valley famous for the ikan bakar .... and some more, after yesterday unforgettable 8 course food hunt... we wanted something not western, not asians (out of M'sia), not sushi, and not cheesy. We had a 4 dishes and soup ikan bakar luncheon. Satisfying.

In the midst of giving up hope and going for a back up plan, some one suddenly said "Let's go to The Garden". At the back of my mind... even worst, expensive and none suit. We went on anyway. The only place that we stepped in is Isetan. Indeed, all the branded stuffs. Somehow, we spotted this corner with all the nice dresses. This dress really catches my eyes and it fits... but the price......break my heart it 2. We went on to another ......but then, we went back to the first one I tried. Sales girl being very nice, choose a few more for me to try..... if I can afford, I want to own them all but..... Think hard.... and finally I gave in.

Dress is under alteration now. Will be ready in Friday hopefully. This dress is intended for cousin's wedding next year in Sweden, but then if I am buying one now for this wedding and another for cousin's wedding... it comes back to the same amount of money I am spending. So now, buy one for all.... hopefully I get to wear more of it.
