Valentine's Day.

14th February...auspicious day for couples. As for me, I almost did not remember what it is....it is just another day. I guess when you celebrate Valentine's day alone too many times, you tend to forget that it is Valentine's day after all.. hahahaha. Is it really a romantic day for couples or just another day for restaurant, florist and some individuals to 'perah' money from the guys' pocket? Hehehehe... come to think of it, yeah it is almost true.

Flower - raised about 50% to 100% on Valentine's day. Let see, a rose cost about RM 2.50 but today, it can be RM 5 to 10 in the florist. If you buy it from the flower girls that walk from couple to couple (good luck guys) - RM 20 for a rose man! However, since some guys like to show off how much they love their girls, RM 20 - wet wet water la... hahahaha (yeah cry in bathroom later).

Dinner - Well, well they have Valentine's dinner set for couples for only RM 58 ++ per person. But then if eat char keuy teow in Jalan Alor no class wor... ai.... ok la...

Present - What do you usually get for you partner? I hope the guys don't get the girlfriend a box of chocolates (although I like Chocolates, but then it is like a curse asking to pump up more... heheheh). This is interesting.... for girls, you can get them a lots of stuff, from soft toys to material stuff like perfume, handbag, clothes, watch, rings.... bla bla... but for guys a bit tough, limited choice (I was wondering, any girlfriend would get their boyfriend a condom from condom shop for Valentine's gift... hehehehe)

Ai...for lonesome girl like me (dara tua in a few years to come), I always remind myself, Valentine's day was not meant for this kind of notion in the first place. It was meant to remember friends that are dear to you... but then, don't know who change the whole concept to lover's day. And, if you receive a gift from a friend on Valentine's day, you can return the gift on the White day, 14th March. In Japan, 14th February was meant for the girls to give gift to whom they consider dear enough and the White day is for the guys... if what I know is correct... hahahaha. Happy Valentine's day!!!
